Us, La Ferme de la Cour, them and soon you...

Us

My husband Vincent and I are passionate about conviviality, sharing, good food and nature, so we decided to embark on this guest house project together.

In 2016, we bought La Ferme de la Cour, a pretty shale stone building that we fell in love with.

La Ferme de la Cour

This character farmhouse comprises several buildings and outbuildings set around a large inner courtyard. A beautiful garden, a small vegetable patch and a lovely meadow complete the picture.

Our pretty farm is located in Martilly, a small, peaceful village in the Belgian Ardennes, on the edge of the Gaume and in the Southern Ardennes nature park.

Ferme de la Cour has a rich history, including being the court of justice for the Conté de Chiny until 1732. It also belonged to horse merchants, and has seen the birth of generations of draught horses, the signature breed of our beautiful region.

A flower meadow, beehives and small animal rearing will complete our project and will be divided between our vegetable garden adjoining the building and our pasture a few steps from our property.

An orchard and vegetable garden will be created, based on the principles of permaculture, to grow fruit and vegetables in a way that respects nature, the environment and people.

After almost 8 years of work, most of it carried out by ourselves with the help of friends, family and our daughters Lauraline and Clara, La Ferme de la Cour opened its doors. The dream became a reality and we are proud and happy of it.

We offer our guests a rejuvenating stay in a calm and warm environment, with 4 rooms that are quite different from one another, but all equally elegant and welcoming. Find out more about them by clicking on the ‘Rooms’ tab.

As someone who is passionate about cooking and who has followed training courses in prestigious establishments such as the Cordon Bleu in Florence and the Alain Ducasse training centre in Paris, it was important to me to welcome our guests around beautiful tables to share wonderful moments.

Them

Finally, in our presentation, we feel it's important to point out that we share La Ferme de la Cour with our pets, our dogs, our cats, our biquettes, our chickens and our little Célestine (a Vietnamese dwarf pig), who can be discreet so as not to disturb our guests, of course.

You

We look forward to welcoming you as our guest and are committed to making your stay with us as pleasant as possible. Your well-being is our top priority!

We look forward to welcoming you,

Angela & Vincent
