Our sustainability footprint
Our environment is what makes our region so charming. Preserving it—both during the renovation of our building and in the day-to-day running of our guesthouse—was a matter of course for us.
Welcoming travellers also means promoting a more responsible approach to tourism, based on respect and conservation for future generations.
Renovation
The renovation of the farmhouse, which dates back to 1733, was carried out by the owners and local contractors.

Gas heating
Combining excellent thermal comfort with gentle, even and rapid heat without drying out the air. It ensures a continuous and reliable supply
Water points with flow restrictors
This restrictor limits the amount of water that flows
Double and triple glazing
Helping to reduce condensation and retain heat
Pellet stove
Pellets are a renewable energy source made from compressed sawdust, without any glue or additives. Their carbon footprint is virtually neutral
LED lighting
LED lighting is energy-efficient and environmentally friendly
Biodiversity
Outside, the natural environment is preserved at the Ferme de la Cour

A large garden, a flower-filled meadow and an orchard
Providing a habitat for pollinating insects (bees, butterflies), encouraging natural predators and supporting the entire local food chain
Small animal enclosure
Animals are the cornerstone of biodiversity. They ensure that ecosystems function properly by regulating populations, dispersing seeds and fertilising the soil

Permaculture vegetable garden
The combination of permaculture and biodiversity creates resilient, self-sustaining vegetable gardens. By mimicking nature, this approach eliminates the need for chemicals whilst ensuring sustainable harvests
Upcycling
Upcycling is an eco-friendly, cost-effective and creative way to repurpose waste and create something new from something old

Reuse of materials
Original period floor tiles from the living room have been reused to cover the window sill
Portraits by a local artist
We have chosen portraits by a local artist to decorate our guest rooms

Second-hand furniture and home decor
Our piano, bought at a flea market
