Our sustainability footprint

Our environment is what makes our region so charming. Preserving it—both during the renovation of our building and in the day-to-day running of our guesthouse—was a matter of course for us.

Welcoming travellers also means promoting a more responsible approach to tourism, based on respect and conservation for future generations.

Renovation

The renovation of the farmhouse, which dates back to 1733, was carried out by the owners and local contractors.

A large garden, a flower-filled meadow and an orchard

Providing a habitat for pollinating insects (bees, butterflies), encouraging natural predators and supporting the entire local food chain

Animals are the cornerstone of biodiversity. They ensure that ecosystems function properly by regulating populations, dispersing seeds and fertilising the soil

Permaculture vegetable garden

The combination of permaculture and biodiversity creates resilient, self-sustaining vegetable gardens. By mimicking nature, this approach eliminates the need for chemicals whilst ensuring sustainable harvests

Upcycling

Upcycling is an eco-friendly, cost-effective and creative way to repurpose waste and create something new from something old

Reuse of materials

Original period floor tiles from the living room have been reused to cover the window sill

We have chosen portraits by a local artist to decorate our guest rooms
